Is this bed frame really made in Australia?
Yes! All Dorluxure bed frames are proudly made in our Sydney warehouse using 100% NSW-grown Australian hardwood (Blackbutt). There are no imported timber components in our hardwood products.
What type of wood is used?
We only use Blackbutt hardwood — a premium, durable timber native to NSW. It’s known for its strength, natural beauty, and long lifespan.
Is any part of the bed imported?
The only imported part is the painting oil, which is a certified child-safe product made in Germany. All timber and packaging materials are sourced from Australian suppliers.
Can I purchase the bed frame without a headboard?
Yes, you can. Simply select the “Frame Only (No Headboard)” option when placing your order.
Is the finish safe for children or people with allergies?
Yes, we use a German-made natural oil that is certified child-safe and low in VOCs (volatile organic compounds). It’s a safe and eco-friendly choice.
Does the frame come with a warranty?

What kind of support does the base provide?
The bed base features solid hardwood slats made from NSW Blackbutt, carefully spaced to provide excellent support and ventilation for your mattress. It’s suitable for all mattress types — including latex, memory foam, and heavier models. The frame is exceptionally sturdy and built to handle substantial weight. Its solid construction also helps reduce the risk of mattress sagging over time.
Can I customize the size or colour?
